From everyday look to haute couture trend: “Cold Girl” make-up at Schiaparelli

Normally, the catwalk is often the origin of the trends that will soon be worn on the streets. But this time it’s the other way around! The “Cold Girl” make-up look is currently very popular and can therefore be seen everywhere – including at the Haute Couture Spring/Summer Show by Schiaparelli in Paris. In addition to the eye-catching designs with animal heads, which caused a stir in the media, rosy cheeks, red noses and silky matt skin catch the eye.

For once, make-up artist PatMcGrath, who is responsible for the looks on the Schiaparelli runway, does not set the trend herself, but uses a winning combination that millions of users on Instagram, TikTok and Co. are already celebrating. We are certain: A look that looks just like you just came from a long walk in the fresh winter air, including reddened cheeks and radiant skin, not only looks great in everyday life, but is now also haute couture. It doesn’t always have to be extravagant!

Next hype product? MAC launches skincare line

Whether lipstick, mascara or make-up: the make-up brand MAC Cosmetics based in New York has already triggered a worldwide hype with some of its products. TikTok users have recently been conjuring up curls with this kitchen tool

Weird beauty tips are constantly circulating on the internet, each one more questionable than the next. Now, however, a new hack has gone viral on TikTok, the results of which convince us. And the best part? All we need for it to succeed is a tool that we already have in the kitchen cupboard: a colander. Yes, you read that right, the device we use to pour off our pasta water! This serves as a perfect substitute for a diffuser and is said to promise voluminous dream curls in just a few minutes. Beauty TikToker Liz Fox Roseberry (@foxcraftcustom) posted a clip to the platform last week of her blow-drying her damp hair upside down in a colander. The influencer, who regularly tests and comments on new fashion and beauty products, was surprised by the result.

The prerequisite for the success of the trick, however, is that the hair structure is already naturally wavy to curly. If you have straight or very fine hair, the pasta sieve diffuser will not be able to conjure up wonderful curls.

Irina Shayk is happy about rethinking in the fashion industry

At 37, top model Irina Shayk is one of the older in her profession. But the fact that she gets fewer jobs as a result is not the case, says the native Russian. She adorns the cover of Spanish Vogue – a small sensation, after all, Irina was last seen on it around ten years ago. In the accompanying interview, the mother of a daughter praises the fashion industry. Above all, that one is no longer biased towards a certain – especially young – type of woman. “I think fashion has totally changed in the last five years. And part of that process is accepting that women are beautiful well beyond 20. We need to celebrate and support that diversity. I just turned 37 , I don’t think I have to reach a certain age where I’ll be considered complete.”

She is also happy about all the top models of the 90s, such as Cindy Crawford, who are still working and getting jobs today, some of whom are almost 60 years old. According to Irina, this is a development that is remarkable and goes in the right direction.
