Additionally, the Streamy Awards is one of the most significant awards for the online creator community that has swept the globe in recent years. The 2022 Streamy Awards was a night of celebration for creators to pat themselves on the back for churning out creative content on such a regular basis.

Fans all gathered to see their favorite creator get the recognition they deserved. While many deserving creators like Ryan Trahan and IShowSpeed received their due credit, there were many others who were snubbed. Besides, being the Streamy Awards we’re talking about here, it’s bound to leave some feathers ruffled.
Biggest Snubs at the 2022 YouTube Streamy Awards
The Streamy Awards 2022 left a sour taste in many mouths. On the one hand, a creator who performs averagely gets the honor of hosting the entire show, and does so with no power in sight. On the other hand, artists who have gone to great lengths to entertain us throughout the year are snubbed.

This year marked the fourth consecutive year that Mr.Beast was named Creator of the Year. With over 100 million subscribers, the creator hands out his numerous diamond play buttons.
hot take but I think the dream deserved this award. Not only was it unveiled this year, but it also reached 25 million AND 30 million subscribers. He has one of the most viewed YouTube videos of the year and is still the fastest growing gaming content creator. So yes, he deserves an award

While there’s no doubt that Mr.Beast is one of the biggest channels on YouTube, there’s also no denying that the man is running out of ideas. In 2022, Mr. Beast published irregular and generic content. And henceforth no longer earned a title that said “Creator”. Fans believe that Dream, who recently did a face reveal, was the rightful winner in the category.

Another snub that had everyone visibly saying “what the hell?” was Name is not win in the Show of the Year category. The show, with its array of award-winning guests, has given us some of the best celebrity moments.

However, Name is not titled the show of the year and a relatively unknown show Mythical morning did. Speaking of snubs, Quackity didn’t win Streamer of the Year. The 2022 Streamy Awards have been massively overtaken by gamers this year, making it even more disappointing that Quackity didn’t win.

The stream was mostly occupied by Quackity fans. And although he didn’t win, they were all about Quackity. While this could be called a case of toxic fandom, Quackity really deserves it. Quackity lost the award to Kai Cenet. And while fans are disappointed, that’s not even half the disappointment they felt when they heard that Mr.Beast won again.

Additionally, no David Dobrik was spotted at the 2022 Streamy Awards and fans are divided on that. On the one hand, we cannot forget the joy that his vlogs have brought us. On the other hand, we were all appalled by the controversy he caused. Although the 2022 Streamy Awards had many categories, they weren’t enough for the YouTube stars.
