Catherine also admitted that Michael was good at giving jewelry, which “was something I really loved and cherished and the sentimental value of which was obvious.”

Catherine and Michael went through a brief breakup in 2013 before reconciling. In an interview with the last month, she opened up about the “ups and downs” of her marriage Daily Telegraph. She said it’s “impossible that there aren’t ups and downs when you live with the same person and wake up with them every day. I’ve been waking up with Mike for almost 25 years. I love being married, but it’s a crazy thing when you really think about it.”

Catherine and Michael, who share the same birthday, became engaged in 1999 after he proposed to her while on a New Year’s Eve trip to Aspen. They continued to greet their son, dylan, just before they got married. They welcomed their second child, daughter, Carysin 2003. Catherine previously revealed that she believes her and Michael’s different upbringings helped them find common ground.

“I grew up in a working-class family in Wales; he was the son of Spartacus,” she recently recounted InStylewhile promoting her latest role as Morticia Addams on the hit Netflix series Wednesday. “We are both mostly quiet and very withdrawn people, but we have the opportunity to go out and eat out. This is Catherine on the red carpet… This is my lovely husband Michael on the red carpet. And then we go home and close our doors. And we have a very simple existence where we just hang around a lot and have a lot of interests.”
