Britney Spears made a note of her fashion past while getting ready for her latest trip. The star made a fashion statement, donning a plaid mini skirt that looked like it could have been plucked from the set of her “Baby One More Time” music video. The 41-year-old pop star wowed fans as she showed off her Millenium-inspired travel ensemble in one of her snazzy outfit videos, posted to Instagram on Monday, 12.12.
Britney posed and played around in her latest post, which was set to the 80s anthem Your Love The outfield. She looked retro-chic in a puff-sleeved crop top and tiny plaid mini skirt that looked like a nod to her schoolgirl style from her 1998 debut.
The singer tossed her blonde tresses while hiking down her tiny skirt to hint at both of her lower hip tattoos. She wore her usual smoky eye make-up and accessorised with small earrings and a pair of rings.
In another shot, Britney enjoyed the amenities of the private jet. She lay down on a bed while pushing her legs up to reveal her cheeky red boots. Between snaps of her outfit, she gave fans a glimpse of her journey with her husband Sam Asgari. The couple appeared to be letting loose, seen making crazy faces and snuggling up for a sweet couple snap before boarding. The Iranian actor was dressed for the trip and looked sharp in a red polo and white trousers.
Other footage showed Brit playing with a green apple. The fruit seemed to be another fun reference. The star revealed her destination in her caption, telling followers: “New York City here I come!!! How about the apples?” It wasn’t immediately clear what her plans were for the Big Apple, but it looked like she and Sam were in for a great time. The couple have been head over heels since being arrested in June 2022.
