Britney Spears took to Instagram on her 41st birthday to share a strange post about her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, 31, amid their long-running feud, leaving many of her fans confused. “It’s my B-Day but you’re my heart so I’m thinking of you… Congratulations for being so brave, inspiring and showing courage and glory on your show!!! You are not alone…if anyone knows how that feels…I see my little sister!!! Love you!!!” the mother-of-two captioned the post. In the snap, Jamie Lynn could be seen playing guitar in a pair of Daisy Duke shorts and a floral blouse.
Since the “Gimme More” singer was very vocal about her strained relationship with Jamie Lynn, the heartfelt news came as a bit of a shock to the Britney Army. As a result, many of Britney’s 41.6 million followers took to the comments section to express their concerns. “Welcome to the circus… where’s Britney? #JusticeForBritney,” one fan wrote, while another chimed in, “Nah, that’s not Britney.” Other admirers agreed that they didn’t believe the 41-year-old’s post. “Wait what?” another user added, while one commented, “I’m confused.”
While Britney gushed about her younger sister, she also shared one throwback photo from her marriage to Sam Asgari, 28. “The man I married!!! I’m so blessed!!!” Brit captioned the cute photo. Many of her fans took advantage of the comments to wish her a happy birthday, while others weren’t happy that she posted about him on their special day. “Talking about him on your birthday ok,” one user wrote, while another added, “He’s the lucky one!” Of course, many of her followers just wished her well, with one adding, “Queen so happy for you.”
Brit’s post about Jamie Lynn also comes just over a week after the 31-year-old started binge eating Instagram sharing a carousel of photos from their Thanksgiving celebrations. “So much gratitude for a happy Thanksgiving,” she captioned the family group photos. The famous sisters have had a public feud for some time as it has been almost a year since JL took to Instagram to ask her older sister to call her after Britney’s letter. “Britney – just call me,” read the since-deleted post. “I’ve tried many times to speak to you directly and keep this private as sisters should, but you still choose to do everything on a public platform.” Interestingly, Jamie Lynn isn’t on Britneys as of this writing December 2nd post replied.
The hitmaker’s cryptic post also comes a month after she publicly apologized to JL’s former costar Alex Nicholas30, for previously “yelling at” her during Jamie Lynn’s time zoe 101. “It broke my heart to see your interview about your experiences in the business,” the “Hold Me Closer” singer began. “I know it’s 15 years later what you share, but trust me…I know it still matters,” Britney added. “Although I personally apologized to you out of ‘instinct’, my heart didn’t know at the time how incredibly skilled my family is with ACTING LANGUAGE!!!” Although the mother of two is the main character on the show, she has grown to this one Time also not publicly commented on this matter.
