Britney Spears gave an emotional and loving greeting to her two sons on their 41st birthday on Friday. The singer shared two new posts with photos of both sean17 and jayden16, which she reportedly hasn’t seen in “months,” along with the same caption, to her Instagram Side. The first post featured two close-ups of her eldest child wearing a white, blue and black sweater, and the second featured her most recent smile in a suit with a pink tie.
“To my two boys…I love you…I would die for you!!! God speed up my precious hearts!!! I would give anything just to touch your face!!! Sending my love… Mamasita🌹🌹🌹,” read the caption for the posts.
After Britney shared the tributes, her fans quickly took to the comments to share their own thoughts. One encouraged her that her sons would “understand” her “sometime” in the future. “You gave them your world and more, they will understand one day. Meanwhile, many others know that you are one of the best moms in the world,” the comment read.
Another wrote: “Britney we love you!! I send you love and strength!!! I’m sure your boys love you too – just know it’s not their fault. It’s not your fault. It’s the MGMNT bug. The industry.” Others expressed concern about the star’s emotional well-being and shared their love for her.
Britney’s posts for her sons come after Jayden opened up about how he and his brother are, their father and guardian Kevin FederlineHe hadn’t seen her for a while and wanted to strengthen her relationship with her in an interview itv in September. “When she gets better, I really want to see her again,” he said during the special, adding, “It’s going to take a lot of time and effort.” Kevin also opened up and claimed they didn’t attend Britney’s summer wedding Sam Asgari because they wanted to avoid the media surrounding their personal lives.
“I just want her to be better mentally,” Jayden added before speaking to her directly through the camera. “I love you very much. I hope the best for you. Maybe someday we can sit down like this and talk again.”
Britney subsequently accused her sons of “abandoning” her and “hateful” and Kevin also apparently posted an older video of her allegedly yelling at her two sons when they were younger, but eventually deleted it too.
