Blake Shelton has no children of his own but steps in as a father figure Gwen Stefanis three sons – kingston16, Zuma14 and Apollo8 – who she shares with ex Gavin Rossdale. “Even though I’m a stepparent, I take this job very seriously,” Blake said persons. “The children see me as a very important person in their lives. Blake and Gwen started dating in the fall of 2015, so Blake has been in the boys’ lives for more than seven years. He officially became her stepfather when he married Gwen in July 2021. “If I were to give up my career at this point, I only risk regretting that I’m missing out on some more important things in life. For now, those are our kids,” Blake added. “This isn’t about me anymore and never will be.”
Regarding his marriage to Gwen, Blake said their relationship was “so natural and so normal.” He also thinks it’s the “easiest thing” he’s ever participated in. Blake and Gwen spend a lot of time in Oklahoma when they’re not working, and they can lead a pretty low-key, normal life there. “We get away from it all and we’re just us,” Blake gushed. “It really feels different. That’s where I feel most comfortable, happiest and safest.” Now that his schedule is opening up a bit, Blake looks forward to slowing down. “Gwen and I traveled, toured and worked so much for the first half of our lives that now we’re like, ‘Hey, I can put on my sweatpants at 6 p.m. and watch ozark eight times,” he revealed. “This is our life now and we love it.”
