by Anna Lemke

I love testing new beauty products. I do make bad purchases from time to time, but sometimes I find real heroes who have truly revolutionized my beauty routine.

Brow Freeze by Anastasia Beverly Hills

This Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Gel keeps my hair in place no matter what the weather! The transparent gel is super easy to apply with a brush and doesn’t leave any annoying residue. Best of all: You don’t need much of the gel for the perfect hold, so it lasts forever. For me the perfect companion, also for a no make-up day!

Shape Tape Concealer by Tarte Cosmetics

Tarte’s concealer has been hyped for a long time (and rightly so), but I only recently discovered it for myself. I was particularly impressed by the opacity and the long hold. Instead of annoying deposits in the facial wrinkles, the concealer lies evenly over my skin. Not a big fan of too much foundation, I like to just use the concealer. This allows me to cover any imperfections or redness while creating a natural look.

Vinopure Serum by Caudalie

Caudalie has long been my absolute favorite skincare brand. The Vinopure Serum took my heart by storm and has been a faithful companion in my daily routine ever since. The serum with salicylic acid reduces impurities and refines the complexion. And it keeps what it promises! Since using the serum I have noticed a visible improvement in my complexion. But don’t forget: In the mornings and evenings you should also moisturize your skin a lot so that the skin doesn’t dry out.

“Kissed By The Light” all-rounder by Essence

I really like this drugstore product. Because the “Kissed By The Light” all-rounder by Essence has more than earned its name! The bronzer, highlighter and blush in one gives my face a glow like fresh from vacation. Instead of using three different products, this one is enough for me – and it’s cheap too! I simply apply the product liberally with a brush under the cheekbones, along the jawline, on the temple and on the nose. My insider tip: The all-rounder is also perfect as an eyeshadow for a natural, sun-kissed look.

AHA/PHA Exfoliating Cleanser by No Cosmetics

And this product has more than earned its hype! The cleanser from Nø Cosmetics effectively cleanses my face so that my skin feels super supple and smooth. I only use the cleanser once a day so as not to attack my skin barrier too much. Preferably in the evening so I can get rid of all the impurities from the day.
