Al Roker is still in hospital and tells fans he ‘hopefully gets home soon’ +2023

Al Roker remains positive as he continues to miss The Today Show while he was hospitalized due to recent health problems. The presenter, who has been in and out of hospital for the past month, shared some happy news with his fans on Instagram today and hinted he might be going home soon.

Along with a photo of a brilliant sunset, Roker posted a sweet update to his followers, thanking them for their support and giving an optimistic hint about his future.

“Hopefully coming home soon but if your mind slacks off a little, you can see that and recharge. God bless you all for all the prayers and well wishes for me and my family,” he wrote.

Roker’s message was met with a wave of support from his followers, and his peers and other news anchors chimed in to wish him well.

“My dear friend. I am sure that you read each of these messages and I hope that every time you do it will lift your wonderful spirit even more. Needless to say, I love you and am praying for you and I want you to know that not a day goes by that people don’t ask, ‘How’s Al? Tell him we miss him,'” wrote Pat Battle, a journalist at WNBC-TV. ” You are in the hands of the Ultimate Healer, my friend. Walk by faith, not sight. ABC’s Deborah Roberts – who is married to Roker – commented with a series of hearts, writing: “πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•,” while NBC’s Stephanie Ruhle added: “God bless you sweet Al!!”

Roker was first hospitalized in early November when the today Anker was absent from the show for weeks after recovering from blood clots in his legs and lungs. Despite being discharged from the hospital in late November, Roker watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade from home and waived his hosting duties for the first time in 27 years.

Shortly after his release, Roker was back in the hospital for a second time, where he continues to be treated. page six reported that Roker was readmitted on November 25 when he was taken back to the hospital by ambulance 24 hours after his initial discharge.
