If so, you’re probably wondering if any of the couples are still together in 2022. More specifically, runners-up Alexandra Stewart and Dylan Curry. Love Island USA Season 1 premiered on CBS in 2019. Based on the popular British series of the same name, a dating show comes about a group of contestants all looking for love and a chance to win a $100,000 cash prize. After a public vote on the four best couples of the season, the runners-up were announced and the winners were chosen in the final.
In the final, Alexandra and Dylan took second place. Alexandra was an original actor. On Day 4 of the dating game, Dylan entered the mansion and chose Alexandra as his first date. Then, at the next recoupling ceremony, Alexandra chose Dylan as a couple, and they stayed connected all the way to the finale.
But did their relationship continue after the reality series? Here’s what we know.
Are Love Island USA’s Alexandra Stewart and Dylan Curry Still Dating?
Unfortunately, Alexandra and Dylan are still not together. However, they tried to continue their relationship after the cameras stopped rolling. After the show ended on August 7, 2019, Alexandra recorded it Instagram account to let fans know that she and Dylan would try a relationship after leaving the villa.
But in November 2019, the couple decided to break off the relationship and go their separate ways. They publicly announced their split now deleted instagram stories. Dylan wrote on his Instagram Story: “Alex and I aren’t together anymore.” “Sometimes it just doesn’t work out.” Alexandra wrote something similar to what Dylan wrote on her Instagram Story: “Heartbreak is hard. Our story was like a fairy tale novel for me, but sometimes it just doesn’t work out.”
Alexandra spoke beforehand bustle and said that she believes an injury she sustained after leaving the show damaged their relationship and contributed to its demise. Although they tried to make things work, they found that they were better off as friends.
Alexandra and Dylan’s current relationship status is unknown. We’re guessing they’re both single as we can’t find any references to who they might be dating on their social media pages. However, there is a chance that they are dating someone but want to keep their personal life private and out of the public eye.
