1. HER’s real name is Gabi Wilson.

She is an American singer-songwriter from California who signed to RCA Records under Sony at the age of 14. HER burst onto the R&B scene in September 2016 with their debut EP. YOU volume 1, who caused quite a stir due to her amazing voice and mysterious personality (see #2). HER released the follow-up “second half” of their EP, HER Vol 2 to rave reviews in June 2017. 2. Early in her career, SHE preferred to keep her identity a secret.

When RCA Records sent out early streams of their debut EP, HER Vol 1 In 2016, the label said they “couldn’t say [people] much about YOU,” it said in a one-line press release at the time. While her name isn’t easy for Google, there’s a reason she adopted the nickname “HER.” It’s actually an honest acronym for “Having Everything Revealed”.
